Residential Living COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions
Moravian Manor Communities continues to monitor developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As we have stated previously, this is a fluid situation, with new information coming daily. We continue to adapt to the guidance and requirements provided to us. At this time, there are no known cases of COVID-19 present at Moravian Manor Communities.
As a reminder, please follow Pennsylvania Governor Wolf’s strong recommendation to physically distance yourself from others. As the Governor has stated, “… it is essential to keep as many Pennsylvanians as possible away from each other. With the knowledge of how quickly and easily this disease spreads, I ask all Pennsylvanians to stay home.”
What should I do if I think I may have been exposed to or contracted the Coronavirus?

If I have an underlying chronic medical condition that puts me at a greater risk of contracting the Coronavirus, what provisions should I use to get groceries?
Giant Market continues its Pea Pod Grocery Delivery System, however it is NOT SAME DAY SERVICE. Orders for delivery are placed in a cueing system and assigned a scheduled future delivery date. Please contact Jennifer for assistance to use this option. In addition, we have team members who are available to do your shopping for you. To request this service and obtain an order form, contact Jennifer at 717-625-6106.
Should I cancel my scheduled medical appointments?
The best advice is, it depends. It is best not to assume. Contact your doctor’s office to confirm what their plans are to keep you safe. Always contact your doctor’s office before you go if you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath so they can be prepared to take care of you while protecting other patients.
Are residents who live in Garden Court Apartments, Manor Greene Apartments, Moravian Avenue Cottages, Hendricks Place Townhomes, Warwick Woodlands Carriage Homes, and Woods Apartments able to receive visitors?
Yes. As long as you and your visitor are healthy it is permissible to have visitors. However, to help slow the spread of COVID-19, you should practice ‘social distancing’, maintaining a distance of 6 feet from other people. This reduces the chance of contact with those knowingly or unknowingly carrying the infection. And, practice good hand hygiene.
When will activities resume?
All organized programs have been cancelled through March 31, 2020. We anticipate most will be cancelled through April 30, 2020. Our media team is working on live stream options.
