At Moravian Manor Communities, generosity is woven into the fabric of daily life. It’s reflected in the care neighbors extend to one another and in the steady commitment of those who believe deeply in our mission. The Circle of Friends recognition program offers a way to honor that generosity, bringing together a community of donors who collectively support MMC and the people who call it home.

We describe Circle of Friends members as Partners in Our Mission, a phrase that reflects both their role and their spirit. Through their compassion and financial support, they help us respond to the evolving needs of residents and sustain the programs, services and spaces that define life at MMC. Their generosity bolsters not only individual initiatives but the overall stability of the community.

The Circle of Friends is organized into three distinct Circles, each reflecting a different approach to giving and a shared belief in supporting the life of the community.

Participation in the Circle of Friends is about more than acknowledgment; it’s about connection and shared purpose. Each year, members may be recognized by name on our website and on plaques for each Circle, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. Many choose this quieter form of participation, underscoring the deeply personal nature of giving and the trust placed in MMC’s stewardship.

THE LIVING LEGACY CIRCLE

THE LIVING LEGACY CIRCLE recognizes those who have chosen to support MMC through planned gifts, such as naming MMC in their will or as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or IRA. These gifts reflect thoughtful planning and a commitment to the enduring strength of MMC’s mission. Members are invited to the annual Living Legacy Circle Luncheon in June, as well as the Circle of Friends Holiday Reception, where they receive a signed and dated ornament made by local artisan Steve de Perrot. Names are permanently displayed on the Living Legacy Circle plaque in the McCloud Campus Center unless otherwise requested.

THE HERITAGE CIRCLE

THE HERITAGE CIRCLE reflects a history of sustained generosity. Membership includes those who have given at least $10,000 in their lifetime. This Circle honors donors whose ongoing support has helped advance MMC’s mission over time. Members are invited to the spring Donor Appreciation Reception and the Circle of Friends Holiday Reception. At the spring gathering, those who reach a new level receive a piece of Steve de Perrot pottery created exclusively for MMC. At the Holiday Reception, members receive a signed and dated ornament. Names are permanently displayed in the McCloud Campus Center, unless anonymity is preferred.

THE INVESTORS CIRCLE

THE INVESTORS CIRCLE recognizes those who give annually at leadership levels of $1,000 or more. These gifts provide reliable, year-to-year support that enhances daily life throughout the community. Investors Circle members are invited to the Circle of Friends Holiday Reception and share in the same spirit of gratitude and fellowship that unites all three Circles.

Throughout the year, Circle of Friends gatherings offer opportunities to come together, reflect and recognize what shared generosity makes possible. While these moments of connection are valued, the true impact of the Circle of Friends is evident in the strength of the community and the care extended to residents each day.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our Circle of Friends donors. Their support reflects a shared belief in our mission and a commitment to Moravian Manor Communities that continues to shape the life of the community in lasting ways.
