Finding the perfect place with opportunities to grow and enrich your lifestyle is easy to do at Moravian Manor Communities (MMC). With the area’s widest array of residence styles and two campuses mere steps to downtown Lititz, we’re cultivating a community rich with possibilities. Here, you’ll not only discover room to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually, but also actually grow whatever you want…native flowers, herbs, veggies, and more! Meet one of the neighbors who discovered the art of finding room to grow, and connecting with nature and each other at Moravian Manor Communities.

In our community garden plots, companion planting takes on a new definition. Here, neighbors enjoy planting side-by-side, sharing time and conversation as well as their harvest. For resident Marsha Campbell, gardening was “planted” in her by her dad. “He gave me a couple packets of flower seeds and showed me where I could plant them. Ever since, I’ve enjoyed growing flowers for bouquets and vegetables to enjoy and share. Hopefully, I’ve planted the love of gardening in my four grandchildren – one will gladly weed, one likes to water, one enjoys the harvesting, and one simply eats … especially cherry tomatoes right from the vine!”

Marsha shared, “My husband and I toured Moravian Manor Communities because it was a continuing care community right in the middle of our hometown. We moved here because we saw how friendly the staff was and quickly learned how caring and dedicated, too. The garden plots were a welcome extra!”
