Person-Centered Memory Care
Located on our Founders Campus, the Herrnhut Community is committed to caring for residents with early-to-late stages of memory loss, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Our vision is to help these individuals remain better-connected with the world around them. We achieve this by tailoring person-centered memory care programs for each resident based on their abilities. Programs and innovative cognitive therapies include Music & Memory, light therapy, storytelling and more.
Dedicated caregivers, trained in the provision of memory support, provide personal attention to each resident. These team members also receive continuing education to reinforce the best practices in care for residents with memory impairment.
Uniquely and intentionally designed to encourage independence and provide security for residents, Herrnhut Community includes two separate neighborhoods:
- Unsecured personal care neighborhood
- Secured skilled care neighborhood
